I define wellness travel as relaxation and restoration as a preventative measure, not a corrective one. It is the desire to promote, maintain and improve one's health and well-being while on vacation or traveling for business. Wellness travel can look like many things. A wellness vacation can include healthy eating, spa treatments, physical activities (hiking, walking, paddling, yoga and many others), inspirational outings and adventures that clear or expand the mind, and also educational programs that teach us how to incorporate healthy habits into our everyday lives. It can also be as simple as taking off for a weekend to relax, de-stress, reenergize, refresh and rejuvenate.
